Kaiten zushi, or conveyor belt sushi as it is known in the US, is a relatively new trend featuring tables centered around a circular conveyor belt. Sushi chefs will put fresh plates out and the patrons will watch for their favorites as the plates pass slowly by. Thanks for reading!

#003: Roppongi Illuminations!!

Christmas Illuminations have become very popular in Japan, starting in 1995 with the Kobe Luminarie, then moving to other places around the country. Now, with the center being Tokyo, each ward has their own decoration and tree lighting.  To this day, Roppongi Hills creates one of the most spectacular light shows in the country. You can view the Subtokyo video for the illuminations here.
